Learning to use the vi text editor is a skill everyone interested in using Linux should consider including in his inventory of skills, your Linux kata

Thanks.  I actually learned vi recently (like... 10 months ago or so), but still haven't learned emacs.

"Any comments on emacs?", he said knowing full well of the argument that would surely ensue.
