A while ago I tried out Google Chrome OS (or rather Chromium OS) by installing it to a bootable thumb drive.  The how-to & guide can be found here:

http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/

It's really neat for what it is, a truly instant-on environment designed to get you online as fast as possible.  There's a way to install it to the hard drive, thoughI haven't done it yet, and it only requires little over 2 Gb of hard drive space (some of you have swap-partitions bigger than that I'm sure).

I also noticed that there hasn't been much of a Chrome OS discussion on the forums.  Any thoughts?  Experiences?  Opinions?  Biased fanboyism or hatred?
