The mission of the Pensacola Linux User's Group is to:

1.  Promote, foster and develop skills in the use of GNU/Linux and Free/Open/NetBSD operating systems, as well as other Free/Open Source software projects.

2. Provide learning opportunities for members with all levels of ability

3. Advocate the use of Free/Open Source Software, with a focus on the GNU/Linux operating system.

In addition, the Pensacola Linux User's Group shall never charge for membership nor services and will be open to participation by any person, regardless of race, sex, religious, philosophical or professional affiliation, sexual orientation, nationality, or technical skill.
